6:30 p.m.  Meeting called to order

 

Nominations for Waterford Warrior Officers

 

Treasurers Report presented by Paul Wilkie.

        Cash assets reported as $7000 plus

 

Agenda Items:

 

  1. Waterford Cup – motion presented to have a 3 v 3 tournament- seconded by Lori White- approved unanimously.  Hellmuth Schreefel named Tournament Director.
  2. Road Rally – April 23rd –Every team is required to provide one volunteer – Kathy Curnutte will take care of creating the course/clues for the Road Rally – Lori White in charge of Silent Auction.  Every team should send Lori the name of your team volunteer for the 2005 Silent Auction at lcjcjwhite@aol.com – Lex Loza agreed to adjust website to add contact and addresses - There was discussion of the inaccurate head count and the poor food quality at the 2004 Road Rally.
  3. Silverdome Booth – 20 people are needed to work the Warrior booth at the Silverdome.  Lisa and Randy Callahan agreed to coordinate the volunteers for the booth – Volunteers have opportunity to make $60 - $140 per night
  4. July and August Warrior Meetings – Larry Carpenter motioned that the July and August meetings be suspended unless special circumstances arise – seconded Larkin – Motion carried
  5. Payment of Waterford Warriors Director – Krupiak motioned that Larry Carpenter be paid for directing –seconded by Jeff Curnutte –motion carried – Paul Wilkie paid Larry 10/18/04
  6. Meet the Warriors Night – Discussion followed as to the direction of this event.
  7. MSYSA Insurance Payment – Lex Loza asked whether or not our players were insured or not since we did not make a fall payment – Discussion followed but since the fall season was over it was deemed immaterial
  8. Waterford Parks and Recreation Facilities Agreement – Parks and Recreation will agree to forego the $15 per player field usage fee if the Warriors would take over field maintenance and field management – Discussion followed
  9. Elks Lodge Fields – Tru Green contacted the Warriors to see if we wanted to aerate the fields and fertilize the Fields at the Elks Lodge – Larry Carpenter motioned that we pay Tru Green to aerate and fertilize the fields – Motion died due to lack of support
  10. Changing date of the November Warriors Meeting – Due to deer hunting, the November 15 meeting was moved to November 8 at 6:30 p.m.
  11. Tubbs Road Agreement – Currently discussions on this are on hold.
