• Congratulations to the Waterford Lady Warriors 91 for an excellent Oakland Yard Fall 06 Indoor season. Finishing at 8 - 3 - 2 against mostly older teams was quite an accomplishment.

• Congratulations to the Waterford Lady Warriors 91 for a solid fall league season. A few different bounces of the socer ball and we could very easily be expecting promotion to MSPSL Premier 2. As it was, we proved again that we are a very competative team that can play at almost any level.

• The outdoor practice season has been completed.
  
  
• The cancelled game against the Vardarstars has been rescheduled. The new date and time are October 29 at 12:00 noon, Borden Park Field #1.
  
  
• The indoor season at the Oakland Yard begins this Saturday October 28. The schedule will be posted as soon as it becomes available. all games will be on Saturdays anywhere from 7am to 8pm.

• The MSPSL league season is now underway.
  
  
• Congratulations to the '91 Lady Warriors on the fine showings at the pre-season tournaments we participated in. Finalists at the Midland Invitational and undefeated in pool play at the Romeo Peachfest, missing out on going to the finals by missing one penalty out of five in the tie breaker shootout. Well done ladies.

• The MSPSL league schedule is now official. Please note that the Sept. 9 home game has been switched back to the normal 1:00 pm start time. Please also note that the LOBOS away game has been relocated to the Friendship #1 field.

• We have been accepted into the Midland Fusion Invitational August 25-27. Our competition will be Midland Fusion 91 Premier, Oakland FC Dragons 91 and TSC Cobras. Schedules will be posted when they become available.

• Congratulations to the Waterford Lady Warriors '91 on their promotion to the MSPSL Select 1 Division. The teams in our division are:
  
  Huron Valley Lightning, LOBOS, RSSC Lightning Blue (old Thunder), Vardarstars-Sargeant, Jackson United, Waza and Lakes Area Liberty.
  
  Fortunately, we won't be playing Jackson United away, so the farthest we will have to travel will be Wixom and Rochester.
  
  
• Practices will begin Monday, August 14 at Crary Middle School from 6:00-8:00 pm. See the maps section for a map.
  
  
• Don't forget the team party at Hayley S.'s house Wednesday, August 9. Give Sandy a call or send her an email if you want to bring a dish or help with preparations. We are sure the Smith's would appreciate it.
  
  
• We are still waiting on our acceptance into the Midland Fusion Invitational August 25-27. Information will be posted as soon it becomes available.

• Tryouts were held on Thursday, June 15, at the Waterford Civic Center field. The girls played well and worked hard, and the evaluation team were very impressed by the quality and skill level of all of the players. As always, the decisions were difficult and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players who tried out for their interest in playing for the Waterford Lady Warriors '91.
