2004 SoccerZone Cup
7v7 Tournament

On February 1, 2004, the Waterford Lady Warriors entered the annual SoccerZone Cup tournament.
Breakdown of some of the rules:
Games are comprised of two 17 minute halves. Guaranteed 3 game minimum.
7 players on field, including 1 goalkeeper.
Sub on the fly, players enter from hockey-like doors.
All kicks are direct. Kick-ins not throw-ins.
3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, no points for a loss. Teams with most points in their flight move on to championship rounds. Awards for champions and finalists.
Standard 7v7 rules.

3rd Place finish. Good competition, some unlucky breaks in the tournament. The Warriors played great and had a good time. We'll get them next year.
