Session Indoor Schedule

Starting on Saturday December 20, 2003 and finishing on Monday February 9, 2004, the Waterford Lady Warriors will compete at the SoccerZone Indoor facility in Grand Blanc.  The facility provides a break from the common soccer game by providing a fast surface, hockey-like boards, and rules meant to speed up the excitement of play. 

Breakdown of some of the rules:

• Games are 50 minutes.  2 25-minute halves.

• 7 players on the field.  (1 goalkeeper and 6 field players)

• Sub on the fly, players enter from their bench through the hockey-like doors.

• All kicks are direct.  Kick-ins to restart the game.  No throw-ins.  

• Hockey-like walls surround the field.  Ball is restarted whenever it touches the netting around the field, above the glass boards. 

• Three-line rule.  The ball cannot travel in the air across the three red lines on the field.  If it does, than a free kick is awarded to the other team.

During this indoor session, the Waterford Warriors will compete under their other logo as the Waterford Sharks.  We will have two guest players on the roster for this session.
