The Warrior girls played in the huge Memorial Weekend tournament known as the Canton Cup. May 28-30, 2004 saw teams from all over Michigan, lower Canada, and other regions travel to play in this tournament held in Canton, Michigan. This tournament has grown to be one of the largest events in the Midwest. Under clear blue skies on Saturday night and most of the day Sunday, the Lady Warriors played some great soccer - defeating the Northville Premier, North Macomb, and Canton soccer club teams to advance to the finals against Livonia United. The finals were played in a torrential downpour, making play wet and cold, between the two teams. In the end, the Lady Warriors emerged victorious from the hard fought battle...claiming the championship!
